As this airport is a regional one, the considerable terminal is not necessary as there are not many passengers compared to large airports. However, the original terminal cannot be found as it was renovated in 2009 by Lincoln Builders of Ruston. They constructed a new nearly 60,000-square-foot, 5,600 m2 terminal, and this building was done in mid-2011. In October 2011, they finished one phase of a two-phase passenger terminal building. The new terminal includes a new baggage claim area and a car rental facility. This new terminal is placed adjacent to the site of the first facility and includes new ticket counters, a "Not Just Bar-B-Q Express" Restaurant, and a cocktail lounge as well. The terminal has six gates, and four of them are equipped with Jet Bridges.
